For which countries will the new SEPA payment method for the Cookidoo® subscription be added?
SEPA direct debit is currently only possible for payments in Euro. Therefore it is available to our customers in Austria, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal.
Why does “Adyen N.V.” appear as a bank account holder?
Adyen N.V. is the provider Vorwerks' payment services therefore it acquires payments on behalf of Vorwerk International. Customers are informed through the SEPA Mandate and the reason will contain “Cookidoo Vorwerk International.”
Is an online bank account required to select SEPA payment?
No, you will only need to enter your IBAN code, the name of the account holder, and accept the SEPA mandate with one click. Online banking access is not required.
How will I be notified of the charge?
A renewal notification will be sent to you 30 days before the charge. After receiving your payment we will send you a purchase confirmation. The process may take a few days.
How can Vorwerk verify that the IBAN code I enter is valid?
The IBAN code contains a check-sum to verify its validity. Vorwerks bank Adyen N.V. introduced a verification method with the bank concerned to ensure that the account exists.
Is it possible to revoke the payment mandate?
Yes, it is possible to request a refund of the debit within 8 weeks of the SEPA request as per your bank's terms and conditions verification.
Once the personal information and IBAN code is entered, will you be contacted in any way?
Yes, a copy of the debit mandate will be emailed to you with a summary of all information.
How do I know if the debit was successful?
You will receive a confirmation email with the details of the debit mandate.
